The Academy at Church Eleven32
FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
WHAT CURRICULUM DO YOU USE?
Students at The Academy at Church Eleven32 receive instruction in various subject areas that constitute a well-balanced curriculum including Bible, language arts, mathematics, science, social studies, physical education, music, art, computer literacy, STEM, Spanish, and study skills. We use resources from from Bob Jones University Press, Science of Reading, and Amplify Texas Elementary Literacy. We are firm believers in using multiple different teaching strategies in the classroom, since each student learns differently. Please see our 2023-2024 Curriculum Guide for specific information about the curriculum resources used in each grade.
WHAT DOES THE ENROLLMENT PROCESS LOOK LIKE?
DO YOUR STUDENTS WEAR UNIFORMS?
Yes, we believe that uniforms help create a focused learning environment. We have Uniform Basics that can be purchased using the instructions on our Uniform Guidelines document. We do realize that individuality and style preference are still of great importance, so every September we will come out with a Fall Line! The Fall Line will include specifically selected items from major retailers that we will embroider with our school logo. Students will be able to wear items from the Fall Line or Uniform Basics on any school day.
WHAT ARE YOUR START AND END TIMES?
Our school hours are from 8:00am-3:00pm for all grades Kindergarten and above, and we follow the Allen ISD Calendar.
HOW FAST DOES THE ACADEMY AT CHURCH ELEVEN32 PLAN ON ADDING ADDITIONAL GRADES?
We plan on adding at least one grade per year, but it is our goal to grow much faster than that! Please contact us if you would like to be the first to know the details of any upcoming details!
DO ACADEMY STUDENTS TAKE FIELD TRIPS?
Yes! We LOVE taking field trips! Nothing enhances classroom instruction more than hands-on experience. Both school-side and grade specific field trips are taken throughout the year, in direct relation to what the students are learning. Some of our field trips include Perot Museum of Nature and Science, the Fire Dept, the library, Allen City Hall, KidZania, and the zoo! Field Trips are an additional cost on top of your child’s monthly tuition. The cost for transportation and admission will be charged to your FACTS Tuition Management account
